Review:
I loved this book, SO MUCH! I find that it's rare for a book's sequel to be so much better than the first, but look at this, I love Scarlet. I think she's the embodiment of perfection, and how she's so driven to find her Grandmother, and . . . and . . . I just can't even.
Let's get started, shall we? Okay, since this is a sequel to a book, this will obtain spoilers, so. . . SPOILER ALERT!
Anyway, there's nothing more that I love in a book than it's writing style, it's just. . . it's something that I find intriguing. The writing style was so GOOD. I am not one to read third person point of view, because I find myself not really getting into the story, But this book was just so kick ass. It was just so. . . AMAZING.
Let's talk about the alternating point of views, you guys know how I prefer one point of view, because it gives me a bit of insight on who the character really is, and how they really feel. It makes it harder if we have to add in a bajillion other characters (or One. . . But who's counting?) And to be honest, most books in YA that have attempted this alternating point of views, in my opinion, failed. But I guess that's only because the change happened halfway through the series, or in the last book in the trilogy *Cough Alliegent *Cough* but this book made it flow together so nicely. I don't think I would have enjoyed this nearly as much if it had been solely Cinder's point of view.
And I also need to give props on how the characters are so distinct. Like in some books you would be reading, and you'd be wondering who you were reading, or you'd forget. But in this, their personalities really shone, and I guess that's what lifted the book through, and I guess that's what made it work in this, and made the whole alternation fail in other's.
Did you guys see the ending coming? I know it should have been obvious, since it had been foreshadowed plenty of times in the series, but I was still shocked to find out that Scarlet's Grandmother had been the one that harbored Cinder.
I jut felt so stupid.
Maybe it was just me.
But anyway, I loved the book, and I am not really one to love science fiction, but this is just a piece of steaming hot cool on a plate.
It's a must read, and I am sooo excited to read more and more about the growing clan.

P.s. Scarlet and Wolf are amazing together. Like Wolf just makes me swoon. Over, and over, and why can't I have a guy like that?
Life just isn't fair.
