Cinder | Marissa Meyer
How bad-ass can a book get? Calm it, this is just an over view, but I'm sorry if it get's a lil' spoiler-y. M'kay? M'kay.
Cinder was amazing, the plot was amazing, the concept was MIND BOGGLING, and I fell in love with how the story was written. I'm usually very weary of third person point of views, but as of late, I've been finding my way into them. And they surprise me EVERY TIME
. The main concepts going on in the book . . . AND GO!
- The Disease, the one that rids the planet, (can't think of the name) and it causes the Emperor's and Cinder's younger step-sister, the one she loves, to die.
- The ball, obviously, guys. This can't be Cinderella without a magical Ball.
- The Lunar's, the Cyborgs, and other Social Alienation. This got on my nerves, how true it is, and how stupid it is, not on Marissa's part, but the society, and I know that it is realistic, and that there are social structures, and balances, but still, they have prosthetic limbs, and altered minds, so what? I get the Lunar's, but still, how closed minded, really you guys. I feel for Cinder, I really do.
- The Missing heir to the thrown, the was Prince, oh, sorry, Emperor Kai's way to remove the evil queen from the lunar thrown, and such.
Those are the main points, and also the series I will be continuing. If I could rate this, I would give it a 4.85 out of 5 stars. I really did enjoy this, but I found some parts hard to read.
Expect a review soon, and TOOTS my PEEPS. (Yes, I did, in fact just say that.)
