Review:
I love Rachel Hawkins, her Hex Hall trilogy is amazing, and she never seems to disappoint. Like, Archer Cross is my life. He's just so perfect. Besides the fact that she is an author that I would love anything from, this book was just so easy to glide through. It was just one of those books that would take you the shortest period of time to finish. It also is one of those books that are amazingly creative, leaving you wondering where they get all of this.
So at first, I didn't like Harper, she came across as perfect, and I hated perfection in literature. It's just one of those pet peeves. I hate perfection in any entertainment platform, to be honest, unless it's being represented in an ironic, or sarcastic way, and I just didn't get that vibe from her.
And then the book progressed, and somewhere in between the beginning of the book, and the end, I became invested in nearly all the characters. They became real for me.
I also loved the romance. It was just so sickly sweet, and I think Rachel is a master when it comes to building sarcastic relations. I just can't even.
Read this book. Please.
