The Fault in Our Stars - John Green (Movie Review)

The Fault In Our Stars - Josh Boone

Review: 4.5 out of 5 stars
Movie Duration: 2 hours 10 minutes
Based on a novel by John Green (Duh)

                                                                       Review:

I loved the movie, the presentation, the actors, the sound track, just everything. The way the movie had been formatted, and presented was completely unique, and completely enticing, and to be honest, I had a fear that this movie would be a crappy adaptation, but it wasn't. it was actually very brilliant. It stayed true to the novel, unlike some adaptations, *Cough* Mortal instruments *Cough* the movie made me feel all warm and fuzzy on the inside. . .

I loved what they did with the text messages, and how they were shown in a comical matter without the movie seeming comical. It wasn't cheesy, it wasn't sappy, it wasn't comical. It was just the perfect blend of emotions, of feels, just like the book, and I find that so hard to do. but it was done.

One scene that stood out to me was The-Night-Of-The-Broken-Trophies scene. I loved how Isaac was just going mental in the back, and Hazel and Augustus just had that casual conversation. I found that hilarious. That was exactly how I had pictured it in my head.

Another thing is that you know how the movie begins with Hazel laying on the grass? And how it ended with her laying on the grass? I found that extremely artistic, and creative. I just love it when things go full circle, and this had, thus me loving it.

Any way, this was a beautiful movie, and I liked it.

Go read the book first, then watch the movie.
