Review:
Okay, not gonna lie, this book hit me right in the feels. RIGHT IN THE FEELS. Let me tell you something, through out the book, there wasn't that much character development on Belly's part, and also, Conrad was a major bitch, and I know, I know, he's coping, but still. Conrad, get your shit together. But, even though there wasn't that much character development, there was character depth, more secondary character's have more of a tag behind them, like, for example, Belly's mom, Laurel. I think it's really nice, and rare to find a YA book that have anything to do with parents, a book that gives a parent a face. And this one does, so . . . Diversity!
This book is propelled by the tragedy that the story opens with. It has a lot of hostile emotions, and such. Also, something that bothered me is the Jeremiah point of view, I ind it awkward, because the first book is based on the point of view of Belly, so the boy's and other character's are from a perspective, and I really don't like books that alternate point of views in the middle of a trilogy, or series.
Anyway, I know this is a shit review, but i'm tired. So. . .
TOOTS :)
